Here we look at the sub-regions of the NW - Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
These boundaries are now being looked at in the light of the current 'city-region' agenda. For eco-efficiency, the city-region has great potential for many supply systems - transport, energy, local food and so on.
