How to use the NW Quest
Using the NW Quest time traveler is very simple.
- Go to the start page: NW Quest
- Look at the choices in the top left corner: these are very simple either / or questions for housing, transport etc
- Depending on what you select, notes and images come up
- The software then shows the effects of your choices, in the spider chart below
- For more detail, click on any one of the indicators, and you will see a map or detailed chart on the bottom right
- You can scroll through different decades to see changes in the map, or zoom in for more detail of your home town
- More background comes up on the top right corner
What is interesting is that the user choices can represent different kinds of thinking: what you think is likely: what you want the government to do: or what you would prefer personally in your lifestyle.
