The Environment sector in London is a diverse and increasinlgy important part of the regional economy. A recent report has shown that the sector contains 140,000 jobs covering a range of broad sectors including the financial sector, the built environment and the green knowledge economy. The Agency has already identified the waste recycling and reprocessing sector for further work and will be developing a programme of work to help stimulate parts of the built environment sector. |
