UKFEI Events13-17 February 2006 - UKFEI Exhibition in the House of Commons'The Green Industrial Revolution; helping the UK's environmental technologies and services sector to exploit business opportunities in a global market' was the theme for the UKFEI's week long exhibition in the House of Commons in February 2006. Located in the Upper Waiting Hall which has a regular thoroughfare of Ministers and MPs, the Exhibition provided a unique opportunity for UKFEI members from the nine English regions and the three Devolved Administrations of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, to showcase best practice from around the UK in the environmental goods and services (EGS) sector. With the aim of the UKFEI being to champion the environmental technologies and services industry, and to promote UK expertise, new technological developments and innovation within the global marketplace, the House of Commons Exhibition, sponsored by Elliot Morley, Minister for Environment and Climate Change, and supported by Barry Sheerman MP, proved to be the ideal forum on which to reach key policy-makers at the heart of government.
