LIVIA has been awarded £225,339 from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, thanks to its past as Agecroft Colliery. Enhancing the Newlands investment, the extra funding will go on a range of schemes to help open up the huge site to visitors and local residents.

As well as contributing towards a number of community-based projects, this money will be used to encourage inward investment into the local business community. Groundwork Manchester, Salford and Trafford will deliver most of this funding’s spend.
